And this is Jack`s little bro Mike having a hold of Jack`s catch. Since these photos were taken, Mike has been catching a few fish of his own. I`m afraid we need evidence Mikey! The proof is in the photo as they say! Well done anyway Mike, we believe you!!!

Jack`s First Ever Catch! A very healthy 2.25lb Bass caught from Fishermans Pontoon on 26/8/09 using Lugworm. Well done Jack
Boat Smoothhound – 3/8/09
By · CommentsDean was out fishing on his friends boat recently, in the vicinity of the mouth of the River Hamble, when he hooked up with this lovely looking smoothhound. It was caught on his 7ft spinning rod, using ragworm and peeler crab on a Hamble Danglers 1 up 1 down rig. Nice One Dean!

Here is a happy customer! Dave has had some exceptional smoothhound catches recently from the mouth of the Hamble River. In this session, he had 3 nice smoothhounds of approximately 4, 5 and 6lbs. All caught on Peeler and rag supplied by Hamble Danglers. Day before he had a 10lb`er using same tactics that Jon had advised him. Keep up the good work Dave. All fish were photographed and returned alive and well.

CAME IN TO SEE YOU FRIDAY AND BROUGHT SOME RIGS FOR A TRIP TO DANCING LEDGE,THIS IS HOW IT WENT.
WE ARRIVED EARLY IN THE MORNING WITH A LONG WALK TO THE SPOT FROM THE CAR, BUT ON ARRIVAL WAS MET WITH A GREAT LOOKING FISHING SPOT, WE TACKLED UP STRAIGHT AWAY AND GOT SOME BAIT INTO THE WATER USING THE ONE UP ONE DOWN RIGS WE HAD GOT FROM YOURSELF.
FIRST CAST AND WE’RE INTO BITES WITHIN MINUTES, FROM THEN ON IT JUST GOT BETTER AND BETTER. THE FIRST FISH WE HAD WERE WRASSE AND UP TO A GOOD SIZE – MY BIGGEST WAS JUST UNDER TWO POUND. THIS THEN DIED OFF AFTER ABOUT TWO HOURS WITH ABOUT TEN FISH TAKEN IN ALL. SO I THEN CHANGED TO A FLOWING TRACE USING ONE OF YOUR SMALLER BOOMS TO SPIN A SAND EEL AT DISTANCE AND STRAIGHT AWAY GOT INTO A POLLACK OF ABOUT ONE AND A HALF POUND.
LATER IN THE DAY WE CHANGED TO A BASS RIG FROM YOURSELF HOPING TO FINISH OF WITH A TREAT OF A BASS, BUT THE BASS HAD OTHER IDEAS, BUT THE RIGS GOT A FULL TESTING FROM THE ALL AND EVER HUNGREY GARFISH WITCH EVEN THOUGH I COULD NOT CATCH MY MATE (IAN) DECIDED TO GIVE THEM A RIGHT GOOD GOING OVER AND CAUGHT FOUR VERY NICE FISH INCLUDING ONE ON THE FLOAT AT THE END OF THE DAY .
JUST LIKE TO THANKYOU JON FOR THE RIGS AND ADVICE,VERY NICE RIGS TO USE HELD UP UNDER ALL CONDITIONS WELL BE SEING AGAIN SOON FOR OTHER ITEMS AND MORE RIGS.

Pollack!
By · Comments
Congratulations to Richard on catching a very nice 12lb pollack, using a blue jelltex jellyworm, supplied by Hamble Danglers. Richard said that he tried all sorts of other lures to entice the pollack into feeding, but it was not until he put on the jellyworm that he started to have plenty of hits resulting in this very nice pollack. He also said that he could feel the movement of the worms tail working in the water better than other shads that he had with him. Richard was fishing on a charter boat drifting a wreck to the west of Portland, off Weymouth on 5/3/2008.
Richard has been sent 5 Hamble Danglers rigs for his story and photo.
